Apron of the Day

Image
I'm calling this my "raspberry and lemon" apron. I will be listing this apron in my Etsy shop.

Spring Debut

Image
It's the first day of spring and a perfect time to show you the 'apron of the day'. I made this apron from 100% cotton fabric. It is fully lined and the waistband is reinforced for stability. As you can see I used three coordinating fabrics which gives this apron a fun twist. There is a scallop at the bottom of the apron which doesn't come through in this photograph. The colors in the photograph are pretty true to actual color. I will be listing this apron in my Etsy shop if you are interested.

I made this fun and fabulous apron from 100% cotton fabric with ball fringe at the bottom, a ruffle and decorative trim at the pocket to coordinate with the brown, green, red and tan colors in the print. I folded the edge of the apron in so you could see that this apron is also fully lined, so you can turn it around for a completely different and fresh look. The picture doesn't reveal this, but there is a slight scallop to the top of the waistband and to the bottom edge of the apron, as well. I will be listing this apron in my Etsy shop if you are interested. For a better look at the style of this apron, refer to the Apron of the Day, above.

My Swap

Image
I was in such a hurry to get my apron in the mail - I forgot to take a picture of it. All I have is a picture of the fabrics used. I sent my apron "swap" to Shannon of Lucky Red Hen and she was kind enough to take some pictures and post them on her blog. Please check it out here . How lucky am I, Shannon is a photographer! These pictures are much better than I could take. You should check out her web site.

Yippee!

Look at the beautiful apron I received as part of Abby's The Feathered Nest apron swap. How could someone who has never met me, pick the most beautiful fabric that is just perfect for me! I think I will photocopy this fabric and wallpaper my sewing room with it. I love pink and green and swirlies ! And it's reversible. See the blue and brown Eiffel town print on the back! To die for. Thank you to Sally at Polka Dot Market ! I LOVE IT!!
