Recently . . .
The White House I was able to take this picture in person. That was an amazing experience. The White House I had never been to Washington D.C. and it was quite moving to be able to take a tour of the White House and a tour of the Supreme Court of the United States. My husband, an attorney, was sworn in before the Supreme Court . Should the opportunity arise for him to bring a case before the Supreme Court, he is prepared. I sat in the court room where 8 of the nine Justices were present, presiding over the proceedings. What a privilege. We were there for a very short visit. I look forward to returning and seeing more.
Mary Lou Heard Garden Tour
It's become a tradition for my mom, my sister and I to attend the garden tour together - to celebrate my birthday. Some highlights from the Annual Mary Lou Heard Garden Tour . Creative use of mirrors in the garden. Love these big beautiful poppies! I have seeds now - hope I can grow them. Using a lot of everyday items as ornamentals in the garden.
