I was sitting in my car waiting and I took this picture. I think it's vintage architecture. Is that a term? I've also been waiting and waiting to put my new collection of aprons in my Etsy store. That's what I've been doing today, so why don't you click on over and check them out . . .

. . . finally had a chance to take pictures of some of my latest apron creations. I hope you like them. I call them my Indie Collection . I made matching detachable fabric pins for the aprons to suit one's mood or inclination to launder. I will be placing these in my Etsy shop very soon.

I am showing my new "Poolside Party" apron. I know this season may not conjure up images of pool parties, but it's still in the 80's where I live. I will be putting this apron in my Etsy shop if you would like to purchase.

What Is an Apron? The word apron comes from a French word, naperon , meaning a small tablecloth. . . . I didn't know that.

I've been tagged by Tandra the Stampin' Up card-making Queen! I guess that means I am supposed to list 7 random things . . . So here goes . . . 1. I watched the Bachelorette series and cried. 2. I love See's dark chocolate walnut clusters. 3. I use a lot of hand lotion - my hands are very dry. 4. I hate it when it is windy outside. 5. I love waking up in the morning knowing I get to have coffee. 6. I love painting the walls in my home. 7. I love to pester my dog so he growls.

I wish all moms a very lovely day. I have so enjoyed being a mother. I took this picture of one of my poppies that I find unusual. There are green leaves or petals that open up to reveal the poppy inside. This is unlike the other poppies I have. My garden is full of life and color these days - the gifts of spring! It's May Day and it's my birthday! Today is celebrated all over the world. I like the celebrations that include May poles and May baskets best. NOTE: Take a look here to see how they commemorate this day in Paris! Today I am showing my May Day apron. It looks like a citrus spritzer! Festive and light colors of pink, orange, green and cream. I will be listing this apron in my Etsy shop. (The stitching is straight on the pocket and rick rack, the fabric is just folded a bit.) Look at these beauties from my garden. I planted vintage colored iris and I just love them.

Today's apron is the " French Bee " in a pleasing terra cotta red with a white cottage rose pattern. This apron is lined with the coordinating mini print shown here as the ruffle, pocket trim and neck straps. The waist ties are also in the same mini print.
